Aftermarket assasins cruiser clutch kit. lowers rpm for a quieter ride and better belt grip.
have AA clutch kits on my Xpedition and Turbo R. No complaints
I have the SATV skid plate on mine. When I installed it I ran a tap in all of the holes and then used bolts (not the self tapping screws). I also put never seize on them. To change the oil I just drop the piece of the skid plate that's over the filter. Still a pain but not bad
Only thing I have saw is that some guy ran the wrong tune and burned up his motor. He posted on FB bashing Michael Hurd from AA. I tagged Michael in the post. Next thing I knew the post was gone. Then a few days later he posted the turbo for sale. I asked him about the other post and he said...
We have traveled from TX to CO 4-6 times a year for the last 9 years. We had three windshields cracked by rocks on the trucks and car. Insurance paid all three times; the problem is this makes your insurance go up. So you gotta weigh the cost of the windshield vs how much higher you insurance is...
With the front off I don't notice any issue with high speed driving. It does make it articulate more so it's smoother in the rocks.

Don't have any helpful info on the Garmin issue but how did you like the first ride in the Xpedition compared to your previous General and Talon?
On my '24 my AC was mediocre in the Texas heat until I added bunches of insulation. Heater has always worked good. We took it out in single digits during a near blizzard and the only issue was-
If you got the wind in a certain direction lots of cold air came in around the doors. Had to crank...
I carry about 300 lbs of stuff with me. I run Schmidty springs. I don't think springs are gonna help you. Its the extra weight on the tail end of the machine. I also have a Turbo R and have had a XP Turbo. Even with a 150 lbs of tools in the rear (and a winch and bumper on front for counter...
With that and a spare mounted its gonna make you be doing wheelies and/or flip backwards when going up steep inclines.
I don't carry a spare much any more but if I do I just strap it down on top of the Packouts in my bed
For the AZ guys: tell me about the riding there. Is there any forest land at all, similar to Tonto national forest in NM? or it it all just desert riding
Thanks
