    Windshield protection

I think it depends on the state he is from. Arizona (and I think Colorado?) have a state law that all insurance include glass replacement. My dealer thinks it allows up to two windshields per year. I had my windshield replaced last year and the very next time I went out I caught another rock...

    Arizona riding

There is unlimited forest riding in the Flagstaff area. It has the largest Ponderosa Pine forest in the world. I keep my Expedition up there full time at my cabin. I can literally create a unique route every time I take it out.

Missing bolt on a bracket connecting the rear gear box to the back of the engine.

Another update and this one is a shocker: Yesterday, I sent an email to Polaris expressing my dissatisfaction over this issue. I included a link to this forum for more details about it. They just reached out to me and informed me that they elevated the case and will now cover the repair...

Missing bolt on a bracket connecting the rear gear box to the back of the engine.

Thanks! That is very helpful. I will let the dealership know it is possible without pulling the engine.

Missing bolt on a bracket connecting the rear gear box to the back of the engine.

Yes, that was my initial response as well. If they don't cover "wear and tear items" nor manufacturing defects then what does it actually cover? I am really struggling with that. My warranty is through Western Services and my dealer never actually shared any paperwork from them. However, I...

Missing bolt on a bracket connecting the rear gear box to the back of the engine.

Update on this: Polaris has refused to pay to replace the busted bolt. My dealership agrees that it was clearly overtightened at the factory. This will be the last Polaris product I ever purchase! To make matters worse the extended warranty that I bought through my dealership is refusing to...

Ah, yes, I see it now! You mentioned that in your original posts last year and I thought you meant you somehow physically found it in YOUR clutch assembly. Doh! Looks like there are only two bolts holding the clutch cover assembly on so I will need to get it replaced. Thanks.

Just so happens I was looking at that when you posted. I can't seem to find it on the Polaris website. It is labeled W.T 8.8 like yours and is 15mm.

Missing bolt on a bracket connecting the rear gear box to the back of the engine.

I was changing my oil today and noticed a bolt hanging out of my skid plate. Once I removed the rear plastic skid plate I could see where it came from. It is the same bolt that you had fall out except mine broke off! Either the bolt was defective or Polaris overtightened it. It will be...

    I Chickened Out

Wow! You are very lucky. I bet your wife wasn't with you or you would have never have been in that predicament. Bringing the wifey has it's advantages sometimes😠 That looks like a road to nowhere good.

    I Chickened Out

Johnny, I didn't recognize the name of that trail until you mentioned western Colorado. My wife and I did do Yankee Boy and Governor Basin last year and what an amazing ride!. The views are spectacular! We did encounter a section that we had to back out of but I think it was on Silver Basin...

Spare Tire Poll - Do you carry one?

Ditto for me too. The dealer had a brand new matching front for $250 from someone who upgraded theirs. I sometimes go places a 4-wheeler can't get to, so it would be a real ordeal if a tire blew out.
