Has anyone found quality floor mats that help with cabin noise. I know it will probably take more than mats but I thought I would start with front, back and cargo mats and go from there. Thanks

Terick Solutions has floor mats, etc. for sound dampening.
Polaris Xpedition Rubber Floor Mats

In my experience, it doesn’t do much to quiet them down, but every little bit helps.
Applying Sound dampening mat to both inside and outside the rear firewall, and packing insulation in all the open areas does the most for the noise levels.

I bought the Terick Solutions Mats . I also took the removable mat in the rear and completely covered the foam under it with Siless Hybrid 3 in 1 200mil sound dampening . It made a very noticeable reduction in noise adding that underneath and the Terick mat on top . Today I am putting the Trinity dual muffler slip on quiet exhaust on . So we will see how that does .

OK I installed the Trinity Double Loop Quiet Muffler today. Definitely made a big difference . Was able to drive down the road with my son at 35-40 mph . We could hold a conversation with no problem . He was with me when we took it from the dealership to home when we got it . WE had to scream when talking at 40mph . Taking it out for it's first off road trip . We are going to do the easy rout to Chiva Falls outside of Tucson .

I started my sound improvement on my ADV (not Northstar) with the HMF dual muffler which I think definitely helped. I will be installing the ResoNix sound kit next. I will pass on my results.
Hi Jackncoke, I also want to do some sound reduction work on my Xpedition XP. Did you notice a difference with the ResoNix sound deadening kit? Do you still like your HMF dual muffler and feel that helps reduce noise?

Hi AzMandella, I just bought a Xpededition XP and want to do some sound deadening work to the machine. Did you put the Siless sound deadening material on the floors and then cover that with the Terick solutions floor mats?
Also, do you still like Trinity double loop quiet muffler? I was thinking of doing a double loop exhaust, but I've seen YouTube videos showing the before and after with a decibel meter and there is no decrease in sound as per the decibel meter. Any insight would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

The Terick mat is designed to fit the mat that is allredy in the back of the ADV . If take that mat out and flip it upside down there is foam on the underside . I adhered the Siless to that foam and put it back in the rear and put the Terick mat on top . But not on the floor of the rear seats .Yes the decibles are about the same but the Trinity has a much lower tone . Like going from high treble to Bass . It does make a good difference in overall sound .

To quiet the interior noise of my ADV 5. I used rubber mat from a horse stall. It's about 1/2 inch thick, very dense and heavy. I got a sheet of it at C-A-L Ranch. Cost about $64. Helped a lot for reduced noise and heat. I also used Dyamatt sheets on the rear outer bed wall sides, behind the body panels. Also sheets to cover the engine cover under the sound pad over that compartment. All of this helped heat and noise reduction.
