On our 2025 Northstar ADV5, it is extremely difficult to get the transmission into High. Is the factory shifter adjustable for better shifting or would an aftermarket shifter make it easier to shift into High? Who makes a good replacement shifter?

The only shifter replacement I’m aware of is the Viper Machine billet shifter. I haven’t used an Xpedition with one installed so I can’t really say if it makes shifting into high easier.
The only adjustment is on the shift cable at the transmission, and that won’t make it any better.

Following up on JT's response, I have the Viper Machine billet shifter. It's a gate shifter and works well but I don't know if it will address your issue. Because it's a gate shift you have to give it a good pull to get it through the gate and into high.

Has it always been hard to shift into high or did it just start? Mine shifts into high as easily as low. If the clutch is spinning it would be hard to shift into any gear so I don't think it's the clutch.

The hard shifting has been this way since purchase date. When cold, going back and forth between L and H is fine. It's after driving for awhile it gets extremely hard to shift. I had a local shop here look at it to see if the clutch needed alignment. Everything checked out good. But the shop does recommend installing a Hillman clutch kit, Supposedly that help keep belt temps down, and keep the belt from grabbing when it get a little warm. I've never heard of Hillman. The shop wants $500 to do the install. Is that a fair price?

I'm pretty sure its Gilomen clutch kit ! 500 isn't bad if it's the performance kit. If is the quiet kit thats a little steep ! :) That price is with the kit right ????

I think It’s a clutching issue and not a shifter issue. Start the rzr with the cover off and see if the secondary is spinning at high rpms. The belt shouldn’t be spinning in park or neutral or if it is it should be not be gripping and spinning at the same speed as the primary. They know that and that’s why they are recommending the clutch kit. Secondary could just be out of alignment
