the previous owner of my Xpedition installed front and rear light bars, front smaller light light bar and pod lights and street legal kit. I believe it is all wired to the pulse bar and know that’s way too much on there. My question is when too much is turned on it blows the 20 amp accessory fuse right under 10 amp accessory power fuse. Everything I read is that when the pulse bar is overloaded it blows the 10 amp fuse. Just making sure that 20 amp fuse is also part of the pulse bar and not wired somewhere else.

joe c, I don't have my Xped yet. But I've been in a General XP for 5 years and the Pulse bar "should" be the same. I have as much wired to the Pulse bar as you have stated, but I have relays off the bar. Ignition feed for the relay trigger and switch back lighting, then battery feed to power the lights. The Pulse bar battery feed point has a 40A fuse, the Ignition feed point has the 10A fuse. I haven't had any issues blowing fuses. It sounds like there is something in your lighting array that is wired/powered from the Accessory fuse.

thanks JT. Yeah that’s what I’m confused about. Everything seems to be powdered off the pulse bar (photo attached) but it’s blowing that 20 amp accessory fuse.

Whatever is plugged in on the port closest to the firewall hole is wired to accessory.
Top wire is negative, middle accessory, and bottom is positive.
It looks like heavier gauge wire than the others, so I’m guessing it goes to something with heavier draw than the accessory circuit can handle.
It’s pretty easy to move the connector to the lower hole by popping the plastic retainer on the back and using a pick or small stiff wire on the front to get the connectors clip free.

Thanks JT. It powers this WD electronics box which I thought was just the street legal kit. Was assuming that wouldn’t be that big of a draw but I’m a idiot when it comes to this stuff

The WD box shouldn’t be enough draw to blow the fuse. Unless there’s a short somewhere.
I’d check to see if there’s something in particular when the fuse blows.

The Pulse Bar is capable of handling 40A. The WD Electronics system won't take that much and pop the 20A fuse.
I've had that fuse blow, for no reason at all. So I made sure there was nothing rubbing on any of the wires from the Pulse Bar. Found on suspect wire and added more insulation. No problem since.
My General, I added one of these:

I ran another (+) Red #4 cable from the battery and another (-) Black #4 cable from the battery, or use the frame ground location. This will give you a 100A capable fuse block for wiring all your accessories.
My first was on my General. I bought one for the Xpedition, but haven't installed it yet.
This is another option that I have installed in my Xpedition. The green block in the background shows the connections and the fuses for each accessory added. It uses the #4 cables that I used for the Blue Sea Systems fuse block in my General.

The AUXBEAM came with cables and circuit breaker to get power from the battery to the AUXBEAM Gang Switch Panel.
I have the panel mounted in the roof liner where it turns down at the front. Easy to see, easy to turn accessories on and off.

A few ideas for ya!!

Thanks Pirate!

Just remembered. We found that the One leg of 20A Accessory fuse was not making good contact with socket.
Worked a bit to close the socket, put in a new fuse. Problem gone.

Mine def seems to be an overloading issue. Think I just need to rewire some of the lights. Thanks for your help!
