How much Forward offset were you using . Super ATV says their 1" forward offset a arms will not cause that problem . They said they tested them extensivly and no problems . And yes the Rhino 2.0 have greater articulation over stock .I had offset arms on my XP900. It does affect turning radius slightly. The main problem is you will break your cv joints on the axles if you back up while turning sharp. SATV supplies steering stops with their arms but then your turning radius really sucks.
I was running stock axles, and then Highlifter, both had the same issue. If you can find axles that can handle the extra angle you might be ok.
You might talk to SuperATV and see if their Rhino 2.0 will work
They were 1.5" SATV arms. Rhino 2.0 weren't around back in those days. Highlifter DHTs were junk. The boots would tear for no reason. Me and a buddy both had them and had to change the boots multiple timesHow much Forward offset were you using . Super ATV says their 1" forward offset a arms will not cause that problem . Do you still have the stock axles or did you upgrade to Rhino 2.0 or any other aftermarket axle ?I did the 1” forward to put 33s on.. I had to grind off the limiter pcs to get the better arc back in steering . I just have to make sure I don’t full steer then hammer throttles
I put 33” on my stock set up with offset rims. I have a good 1” of clearance while climbing down some technical black rock trails. I’m considering the change but am not sure I will gain that much. Many of the trails in TN and WV are a bit on the skinny side. Please share your thoughts. ThanksI did the 1” forward to put 33s on..
