Looking at a Grand Design 350G Momentum toy hauler. Anybody using one to haul a XP5? Should fit length wise.
Ramp door is rated at 3000 lbs. I am gonna guess mine with Long travel, beadlocks and larger tires weighs over that.
Wonder if I could or should lay a plank on the ramps where I drive up to help distribute the load?

Or if you have a different brand TH, what do you have?

Thanks

I have valor 44v14 and my xp5 fits with a few inches to spare in the front and back. My toy hauler has the patio doors and railings that reduces the length of the garage a bit but it still all fits. It looks like the momentum has a slightly longer garage so you shpuld be safe. As for the ramp, I've never had any problems but it definitely makes me nervous every time I load and unload it. As Garciava noted above, the machines are so long by the time your tires are in the garage your others are just hitting the ramp. I back my xp5 in as its easier to get in and out of and I put the passenger side tight to the wall.

Also, Grand Design builds an awesome trailer. My previous 5th wheel was a grand design reflection and we had nearly zero issues with it after 5 years of pulling doubles and we always stay in the back country, rarelyat a campground. I really wish I would've gone with the momentum but they didn't have a floor plan we liked so I ended up with the valor.

Thank you for the responses. I have decided to make my 20' cargo trailer into a small toy hauler for now and then buy a motorhome in the near future
