Any problems to speak of with the turbos?

Only thing I have saw is that some guy ran the wrong tune and burned up his motor. He posted on FB bashing Michael Hurd from AA. I tagged Michael in the post. Next thing I knew the post was gone. Then a few days later he posted the turbo for sale. I asked him about the other post and he said that it was his mistake for running the wrong tune and he had deleted the original post.

From everything I've read about all the turbo kits, there not worth the money for the minimal gain they achieve ! I'm still waiting for feedback from a guy with one from Evo to see what theirs does.

I think might depend on how much more you want to put into it I’m on lowest tune and for 35’s it does exceptionally well but only got 600miles on the turbo so far just wanted to see if there were any obstacles to watch out for !

If you’re expecting to slap a turbo on an Xpedition and go race with the Mav Rs, you’ll definitely be disappointed lol. But, for a little more snappy throttle, or just better running at higher elevations, the turbo kits can be good.
The biggest issue I see with putting a turbo on these machines is that it’s likely to reduce engine life and make a lot more issues. I’d rather just ride my Xpedition and not have to be constantly tinkering on it.

Agreed, and you can achieve better throttle response and better power with a tune and clutch kit and exhaust !! At least I did !! :ROFLMAO:

I can tell you one thing... There is absolutely no comparison... I started with the AA Stage II tune and clutch, then went to the turbo. The turbo hands down rocks and the performance from 0 to 60MPH with the turbo cuts the time in half. It a huge performance upgrade (my times are posted somewhere in this forum.) Now, that said, I did have to work with Mike to get the tune dialed in (3 or 4 different versions and don't use race fuel) but the AA team is very responsive and don't leave you hanging. Besides the SRS Springs, the AA turbo, clutch and tune is a great upgrade. I have the stage 3 and dial it back to 2 most of the time.
