We just replaced our 2020 Ranger 1000 with a 2025 Xpedition ADV. We are keeping our SnowEx V-plow to use on the Xpedition. The dealer installed the new mounting brackets & hooked everything up for us. It works great, except it is a bit heavy and brings the front end down further than we like. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to bring the front end up a couple inches without replacing the shocks, etc? Someone mentioned there are rubber spacers that can be put in, but would like input from anyone that has gone this route or if they have a better solution? We dont really want to mess with the shocks too much, we dont want to lose the ride for the rest of the times we use it without the plow. Thanks in advance for suggestions!

The problem is twofold. Every Xpedition I’ve seen has come from the factory sitting lower than polaris’ own specs. And second, pretty much all OEM Polaris springs sag with use.

You can adjust the preload on the springs to gain the prop ride height, but as DogRunner said, you can adjust it for normal riding, or plowing. If you set it for the weight of the plow, it’ll be extra stiff once it’s off. Or if it’s set for normal riding, it’s going to drop under the plow weight.

It is a good recommendation to get aftermarket spring replacements to eliminate sagging, and help handle the extra weight of the plow.

I highly recommend against using any kind of spring spacers.
