Park the Wiper on Opposite Side of Windshield?

Does anyone know if there is a way to "park" the windshield wiper on the opposite side of the windshield? It's not a lot, but I'd like the little extra vision that may provide.

If it was parked on the passenger side all the run off the wiper would be on the driver's side.That would suck.
