Anybody else get the survey from Polaris? Asking questions about did I want long travel, higher HP and Dynamix on future Xpeditions. They wanted to know things like: what would I be willing to pay for long travel from the factory, and which would I rather have? more HP or long travel.
Sounds like Polaris is paying attention to what we are asking for and doing to our machines.
Not sure what percentage are installing long travel but for me it's a necessity unless you stay on flat ground.
I have Dynamix on my Turbo R, while it's nice I don't see it's necessary. Mine stays in rock mode 90% of the time. The three click on the Xpedition is fine. I don't change it unless I remove my 200 lbs of gear from the bed.
While more HP would be nice (someone posted that at 11k feet their XP5 would only go 39 mph) this isn't a big issue for me. Other than going fast on the county roads we are going 10 mph or less looking at the scenery and for wildlife

I've got $58k in my XP5 so I plan on keeping it awhile. While more HP would be nice, better brakes are more important. Waiting on some reviews to see how to new brake kit works and if somebody comes out with something alittle cheaper.

If they were to offer a factory turbo option, or an Xpedition 1500 I’d 100% go for it.
As to Dynamix, SDI E-Cliks are a better option and far more customizable for weight and riding style.
Long travel… it’d depend on the price increase. HCR and JRI are a lot stronger than factory suspensions. While I do think the 64” width on the Xpeditions makes them fairly unstable for anything more than flat roads/trails, they’d have to offer it in both normal and long travel. Too many Xpedition owners don’t have the transportation capacity for the wide cars. It’s easier to let the customer add long travel if that’s what they want.

For me. I just want them to bring back the Ultimates. Especially if they do a turbo or 1500. I don’t care about the Northstar option, and I won’t be upgrading anytime soon, unless they do a massive upgrade like that.

I did 4+3 offset wheels and am satisfied. Hardly have to stay on flat ground, lol.About 20 more hp and better brakes would be great, but at what I have in mine I won't be getting rid of it any time soon. I had my last sxs almost 6 years.

What all have you done with your x?P five

Only thing I would change is to have them put 32-in tires at least and quiet that damn cab down! Also on the North Star package and any other vehicle for that matter that has ride command to have better mapping and with 3D dimensional maps. Like onX has.

Just the ability for phone mirroring like CarPlay or Android Auto would be nice on the Ride Command. Then you could just run OnX or Gaia, Etc.

I just did another survey for Polaris yesterday. They were mainly asking about the app vs website but I did tell them that Ride Command needs work. Way too many places aren't mapped and need some way to run other mapping software on the Ride Command screen.
