I am looking to add a cargo light to the rear of my ADV northstar 2 seater. I was told there is a harness that ties into the dome light and runs back to the cargo light to power it. Is this true, I have looked on partzilla, and polaris and can't find what part number the cargo light is or the wiring harness part number.

Does anyone have the wiring diagram or part diagram on this?

I just installed one of these.

How bright is it? I seen that I just don't think it is going to be bright enough.

Its plenty bright to light up the area at night. Here's a pic with just my backset light turned on.

Thank you for your reply with photo. Yeah that looks pretty bright. I mainly want it to look at my milwaukee pack out boxes in the cargo bay area.

I ordered the rops harness and it doesn't work. Unless the cargo light is different connector on the cargo light than the dome light. I ordered a dome light thinking they were the same part.

I'm planning to use recessed marine grade led's in my ceiling and was hoping to attach a light similar to this on the back glass where the windshield wiper provision is at for overhead lights when standing at the tailgate.

I'll post a thread when I do.

For the four seater, there is an existing frame under the headliner for a rear dome light that is the same as the front dome light. It requires a Polaris harness that runs from the back bracket to the front light, and the dome light itself. I did it in my Northstar, very clean and works great, really helps light up the entire interior.
