Playing in the mud
Front is fine. Rear at first wouldn't come on then had a line across the screen and screen was black. Then it came back on after shutting off the machine a starting it up again, but the screen was red and very grainy. Already checked connections. Any suggestions?

I wish they would remove all the writing and Polaris garbage on the screen so you can actually see stuff when you're backing up. Personally, I don't give a hoot how much gas I have or the temp outside when I'm in reverse. But Back to Topic :) , that def sounds like a connection issue. Maybe try to play with the connections behind the screen while the camera is on. See if you can make better or worse.

Another connection point is the bed harness. The tail/brake light harness plug has the camera wires in it too.
If you’ve done W. D. Electronics turn signal kit, it plugs in between the plugs for the bed at the left rear of the frame and I’ve had them push pins out of the plug before.

I checked as much wiring and connections as I could, to include WD plugs and still have the distorted screen. I'm going to try again, even though there's only so many things to try, but it does seem like it should be something simple that I'm not figuring out. Another trip to the dealer I DO NOT want to do. Figures, right before bow season opens :cautious:

Dealership ordered a new cam. I'm not digging into the dash/ride command, I don't need any more problems 😂
I absolutely love the Ride Command system! The Rearview camera is so useful for backing up in tight areas and hooking up to our camp trailers. The V2V system is great for seeing where the lead in the group goes without having to be all up in their dust, and we’ve used the texting feature quite a few times.
Just really wish the other manufacturers would implement something similar. Rides go so much better when everyone can see the tracks and locations. Of course, I’m usually riding with a group of friends… for those riding solo, that feature doesn’t matter so much. But it’s still nice having the maps.

My ride command has a mind of its own. 90% of the time I don't get any overlays and can't connect but everything else seems to work.

Unless it’s a hardware issue, I’ve found that re-installing the latest software update usually fixes any glitches. Even if you’re on the latest update, you can re run it.

You can also try a reset, press and hold the center button for about 6 seconds until it pops and reboots. If you are driving and your system freezes this will fix that as well without having to turn off the machine, you can do this as you continue to drive.
