Looks good. I see you do lots of builds. So what kind of people are your customers?
Is it people that don't have the skills to do it themselves?
People that don't have the time to do it?
People with plenty of money and don't care what it costs?

I am 62 and been working on my own stuff for 46 years. First working on all of the farm equipment then when I got into SXS's in 2012 starting modifying and repairing them.
I have about $60k in my XP5 right now. With labor probably $75K?

I do some repairs on the side for my friends:
Did the valves on a Ranger 570,
Installed a SuperATV EPS kit on a Honda Pioneer.
Right now working on a mid 80's Miller Bluestar 2e generator/welder. Got it welding but no gotta dig into the motor. At 40 years of age it needs some loving
I charge my friends $20 hour (local Polaris dealer is $115 hour).
I will attempt to fix anything just for the experience.

Not sure how old you are but wanted to say I am impressed with your work. If a younger guy, especially impressed

Thank you!

Most of the people we’ve done builds, or just sound dampening and insulation for are friends and people we’ve known for a long time. A few have either found our work here on the forum, or by word of mouth from those we’ve done work for.
I think for most of them, it’s that they don’t have the time or inclination for the amount of work required to do the proper job. I expect most, if not all of them could do it themselves if they wanted. Surprisingly (or maybe it shouldn’t be) the ones that money was less of an issue for, were the more basic jobs. Just sound dampening and insulation.

For me, I’m mid 40s, and I’ve been a mechanic, truck driver, equipment operator and fabricator, among other things. Being a mechanic and fabricator are the ones I’ve enjoyed the most. And since I got my first SxS in 2019, I’ve somewhat developed a passion for working on them. I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my work, so whether it’s my own or someone else’s machine, I do the work to the very best of my abilities.
There’s also a great deal of gratitude to my brother for enabling me in all this. He started HighCountry Unlimited when people started getting interested in the Camp Trailers we’d built for ourselves, and it’s morphed into doing SxS work as well, when we’re slow on the trailers.

Thank you!

Keep up the good work. I am proud of you for wanting to put out quality work. There are way too many guys in this business putting out shoddy work and/or just plain ripping people off
