Roof light Bar

I bought the 50" rough country curved light bar with the brackets that mount in the door corners of the frame. They didn't send a grommet or anything to run the wire from the light bar into the cab. What is everyone using to do this? I don't want to get any leaks in my cab.

Rough Country just came out with roof mounts for the Xpedition, so make sure that the ones you got will work. My plan is it utilize the Polaris wiring harness, ill just splice the connector from the harness that came with the light onto the Polaris wiring harness. The one that Polaris makes comes with a grommet for running the wire down into the roof but if you don't want to risk any leaks then tuck the wire under the front of the roof like the picture you attached shows.

You can generally find the grommets at most hardware stores.

How did you get the wire to the buss bar once you tucked it under the roof? Is there an access hole in the roll cage?

There is a hole in the cage on the drivers side. I used a fish tape and taped my wires to the fish tape and then pulled it down to under the dash and then you have to get it through the fire wall. It is time consuming.

I know this might be overkill but this is what i used.

Just get a rubber grommet (most hardware stores have them). If there is a connector at the end of the cable, just make a single cut in the grommet to let the cable pass through. Then seal the grommet from the inside of the roof with black RTV.
