Good morning, just checking in to see if anyone has new data or experience with the new OEM plow kits verse aftermarket as here in WI, we are approaching the snow season and I have an 850' driveway to maintain and need to pull the trigger soon.

I use a boss v plow, used on my xp 1000 Ranger for 3 seasons, now mounted to the ADV.

Still need to strap up the battery cables.

Hey Ed, did you have to build a custom mount? I have a full hydraulic lightweight swoway plow and I'm thinking about doing the same thing.

Ryan, No, boss had a mount for both the Ranger and expedition. Ordered it though a local plow equipment store. It was an easy bolt on project.

How is the weight of the plow on your ADV? We mounted our SnowEx v-plow from our Ranger 1000 onto our new ADV, and its quite heavy, it drags on the bottom sometimes, thinking about trying to find a lighter unit. Curious if you've had any issues?

I have the Glacier Pro HD with extension to run tracks. Haven’t used it yet but had Glacier Pro on a General XP and it worked great

I ended up purchasing the Koplin as there were backordered items direct with the Polaris brackets. We got 13.8" of snow on Saturday and it performed perfect!

The ADV does squat in the front end with the plow up, the only issue is the outside plow edge will contact the ground when it is at full angle. Otherwise no issues, used it for the first time in the ADV this weekend, worked great, just need to remember what vehicle I am driving for the shift pattern.

Our issue isn't so much the plow itself, its the mounting brackets & frame for the plow. We had the Polaris dealership mount it for us, we're just not sure what to do, don't want to mess with changing out the shocks/struts every spring & fall nor the added expense of it 😔

Got it, I have 6.5 inches of ground clearance at the mounting bracket with the plow down and 4.5 with plow up. The bracket is the lowest point, planning on taking the bracket off when off roading. It is 6 or 8 bolts that are easy to access. On the Ranger I left it on and it was always the first thing to hit (ground clearance and approach angle)
