Spare Axle Mount

I like to do long multi day rides and been trying to find a way to easily bring extra axles and couldn’t find anything that I like for the Xpedition so we came up with this mount for under the rear seats. Watcha think?

Good Morning, did you fab up those mounts? and where did you get the rubber straps and what size are they? I have an extra set of axles for my rig and was going to mount them on the roof rack but I like this much better. Thank you in advance

Well I was just able to secure myself a set of those mounts. I should have them here in a day or two!! What a great idea! They are out of the elements as my biggest concern was the tearing of the boot on a branch or overhang. Now they are secure in the cab. These things aren’t light either. Mounting them there but the weight right in the center of the rig and at its lowest point. There are so many pros to these things. I can’t believe I didn’t know about these. I sound like I’m trying to sell them to myself but what a great idea. Thank you Lee from B’s Fab and thank you JimmyKins for the post.

I keep spare axles in the trailer. I carry this in both machines. Gambit Off Road, Gambit Emergency Axle Replacement

Oh yea, I like those. My plan is to have a back up plan and never EVER need to use it. Thank you JohnDeereFarmer for the heads up. Definitely going into the bag of tricks.
