Agree with JTs comments - mine has done great at Little Sahara, OK with same tune and clutch. I also run the SS360 tire (12” wide on rear) on all 4 there. If the sand is hot and dry it is very fine and powdery and some sort of sand tire helps a lot.
Yes - significant improvement and power increase in sport mode. Tune and clutch I have from them is for performance so if you are looking to reduce rpm and noise would recommend a different route.
They wore really well and never had a puncture or flat in 2500 miles. Plenty of tread left but just replaced them with the Obor Lynx. No complaints on megabites but they have a more rounded profile and I personally prefer more of the square profile so I switched when I found a deal on the Lynx...
I removed my front and left the rear on. You will get a bit more body roll at speed but as you said much better articulation on the stuff where it spends most of it’s time.
Yep I’ve always felt my ST springs were low on spring rate. My rear is definitely more compressed than yours. Their answer was to add preload. I don’t want to drop another $900 on springs so I’ve just run with it.
I know shock therapy calls for measuring ride height loaded and with driver/passengers. I gave them heavier weights than I typically run and still had to put in 2” of preload to get to my 15” ride height (32” tires). Don’t love it but not sure what else to do. Hope you like the schmidty kit.
I had the lock n ride flex grips leftover from my Ranger. I took the lock n ride base off and drilled out the mounting hole a bit then used the wing bolt/nut from my Xpedition bed rail d rings which allowed them to slide right in the rail...
Sharing for any fellow ice fisherman out there. Mounted a couple of Flexgrips from ATV Tek to the bed rail and holds my K drill with clam plate nicely.
