    Oil Filter Location?

Did the first oil change on my 2026 ADV Northstar 2-seat. At about the same time a couple friends have been installing a relocation kit on their 2025 ADV Northstar units. Discovered there has been a change in oil filter location. Here's a photo of mine. You can't really tell from the photo...

Amber lights for use on the Polaris Xpedition HD Front Bumper

So I purchased the Polaris HD front bumper for my 2026 Xpedition ADV Northstar. In this photo one can see the two openings for lights. Anyone found a light that fits here? All the Polaris light kits are designed for use on the stock bumper, not the HD bumper. Any help finding an amber light...

    Oil Filter Relocation Kit

Nope a good friend with a 2024 2-seat showed me that there is no flat surface on the passenger side to mount the plate and that the fuel tank is under the passenger seat. Looking at another friend's ADV5, yup it would work just fine. But he already did the oil filter move.

    Oil Filter Relocation Kit

As long as you have a four seat Xpedition, you're good to go. On the two door, it won't work, mostly because the fuel tank is under the Passenger seat....bummer! Pirate

    Overhead Radio Installation

Used one of these in my Talon. Worked great. Did have to drill a hole or two an used a couple of black hole plugs. Got the black hole plugs at the Ace Hdwe Store. But, any store that uses Hillman for their bolts/nuts/etc. will have them. Pirate

    Adding a front (OEM) camera…?

I'm with PeterGriffin. Here in the West, currently in Southwest Arizona, lots of desert and hill country trails go up over ridges. Get to the top of a ridge and you have no idea which way the trail turns. Not that many go up and over in a fairly straight line. Many make a rather sharp turn to...

    Tinted the windows

For the Xpedition, I use the Kemimoto Electronic Device Holder: Working just great. I've also installed a USB port to keep my Tablet charged. Pirate

Ride Command tracks and Garmin BaseCamp

Figured it out. One must download the Ride Command "Rides" to a thumb drive, plugged into the USB port in the Glove Box. Then copy the rides from the thumb drive onto the PC with Garmin BaseCamp on it. Then import the Rides to BaseCamp and there they are. Works just fine.

Ride Command tracks and Garmin BaseCamp

I'm trying to figure out how to go the other way. Take the RC recorded tracks and import them to Garmin Basecamp.

Ride Command tracks and Garmin BaseCamp

I've used Garmin BaseCamp as my repository for recorded tracks on a variety of Garmin GPS units, added Avenza Maps on my Samsung S8 tablet and with the Xpedition, Ride Command tracks. Using Basecamp,, I can trim wrong turns off the track, add waypoints, etc. Then Upload them to Avenza Maps...

Ride Command tracks and Garmin BaseCamp

Got information on RIDE COMMAND tracks. RIDE COMMAND uses a slightly different GPX format than Garmin. Thus is probably is not possible to use them. I carry on using my SkyPro and Samsung Tablet to record tracks using Avenza Maps. This makes it easy to export the Avenza Maps tracks, copy...

Ride Command tracks and Garmin BaseCamp

First ride was a bit of a PITA. Drove a mile down the paved highway, then onto a paved street and then turned into the wash. About half a mile down the wash, I was testing things. Pressed the wife's PTT button...boom, RIDE COMMAND went black. and Rugged Radios Radio went off. HUH? Fought...

Ride Command tracks and Garmin BaseCamp

So finally got the new Xpedition out for it's first ride. Did a 17 mile ride and did record it on Ride Command. Back to the RV and the next morning it is present on my Android phone and on my Laptop. Opened Ride Command on my Laptop, navigated to Rides/Places, there is the ride I did yesterday...
