Master cylinder upgrade

Had a new one ordered from partzilla. Now they came back with no longer available. If you look in the Polaris online fiche they don't show an replacement part number. Has to still be available if the original one was for a 2020 model.
My friend in the parts department at my local dealer can't help because they quit selling Slingshot and have lost the right to sell Slingshot parts.
How dumb is that?

I just did this install and can tell a difference and well worth it..
Hey found you searching for so info. Was the install on the brake upgrade as easy as it looks, and seems. I got all the parts and pieces. Just trying to figure out if I need to lineup a helper or if I can get it done myself I’m not a vehicle or buggy mechanic by trade, but I typically do all my repairs or maintenance myself

It’s not very difficult at all. Only place you might need a helper is bleeding the brakes, if you don’t have a vacuum bleeder.

I’d also recommend replacing the banjo washers on the brake lines as y swap them over. The originals tend to tear the rubber parts.

Having just done a MONSTER brake upgrade on my Canned Ham X3 with a Rolloface dual master cylinder in conjunction with Wilwood’s big brake kit I am ALL about stopping power! Even with 35s its ridiculous, if it had the 32s back on that were previously installed it’d do a stoppie!

The stock brakes on the Xpedition are…meh. I haven’t done any research on this solution and know what the cost is but it sounds like it could be…interdasting!

I’ve done the Slingshot master cylinder swap on both my and my brothers Xpeditions. While the pedal feels better, it doesn’t feel like it’s stopping the machine any better. To do this swap, it’s around $190 in parts and about 30-45 minutes to install.

But talking with Greg from TRP, they tested this, and while it feels better in the pedal it’s actually lower line pressure than the OEM master cylinder.

The big brake kit from TRP uses a ProR master cylinder and the ProR front calipers. They move the OEM Xpedition front calipers to the rear, and then add a proportioning valve for the front so it doesn’t foul up a drive shaft or front differential with the additional braking.
The TRP kit comes in around $2800. No idea on labor time or cost, but for the videos I’ve seen, it’s probably worth every penny.

You guys have some part numbers, please.
I know on vehicles. It would matter of not mixing the lines up because of the staged amount of fluid going to each end of a vehicle. Did anybody else come up with this thought?
