After reading a few reviews on this forum, and watching a RPM video, I bought a set of seat risers. They fit very well, and the supplied hardware works as it should. Very happy with the purchase and the end result. It takes an extra moment or two to connect the seatbelt, but that is nothing more than a minor inconvenience and I'll certainly get used to it the more I ride. Also happy with the RPM website and shipping. I goofed and only bought one pair and after install I quickly decided it looked weird with different height seats. Ordered the second pair. The added height makes a very big difference in seeing over the hood, and there is still plenty of headroom.

We put a set of them on my brother’s Xpedition, and they definitely make the seating even more comfortable. My only problem with them, when I tested it, was that it made seeing things up from the windshield more difficult. Like when driving through town, I had to lean forward and down to see traffic lights. It’s not a major problem, since these machines are for the trails, not the streets, and I’m 6’4”, so probably not a problem for shorter people.
They definitely helped it not feel like I was sitting down inside a bucket.
