Good afternoon all. Spoke with Mike from aftermarket assassins, and he has indicated the 26 models have a different clutch that actually brings the engine RPM too low and causes it to bog and lack power. Curious if any 26 model owners have experienced that and if so, made any changes. He recommends the cruiser clutch would love your input there too. Mike has been rock solid so far, but I’m really new to this and would love some other input as well. Thanks in advance.

I’m not a ā€˜26 owner, but I’ve worked on one. I can confirm that they are really low rpm. It never even hit 7000 rpm in sport mode, and punching on it.
Because we’ve tuned ours for performance, all the factory Xpeditions feel neutered. I can’t say for certain if the ā€˜26s are worse than the’25s.
The Aftermarket Assassins tune and clutch kit will definitely help, even if you’re going for the Cruiser clutch tuning.
