Hey everybody,

I'm reaching out to see if anyone knows of any high-quality mounting solutions for a 50" lightbar that won't ruin the look of the bike. The ones available from Polaris with the Rigid setup are nice, but I'm planning on getting a Rough Country lightbar instead to save some cash. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

I spent a little while searching and haven’t found anything for the 50” light bars. Because they come right to the edge of the roof, there’s some curvature to deal with.

You might try contacting one of the aftermarket accessories companies like DRT or AJK Offroad and see if they might be interested in making some. Seems like there’s a market for them on the Xpeditions, and it wouldn’t be difficult for them to copy the Polaris brackets.

As an update to this post. I have reached out to Polaris and the part numbers for the mounts are 5639335 and 5639334. If you have a different 50" light bar you want to use you will just have to reach out to your dealership for the parts.

Unfortunately, the list price for each side is $85 a piece.

Good to know.
Considering that the light bar they are for is $1800, it’s not surprising they’re that expensive. Polaris definitely isn’t afraid of price gouging on parts only they sell. There are a lot of options out there on light bars that are just as good but for less than half the price.

You got that right! I've been shopping around and its disturbing what some lights cost. I'd rather destroy a 2-300 dollar light bar then an $1800 one, but to each their own.

The bracket on the side of your roof what size of led light bar

The 50” light bar is it straight or curved I want to put one on mine

I bought the Rigid mounts after reading this post and installed an Amazon Nilight Bar that was cheaper than the mounts lol. I like how these Rigid ones offer at least one hard mounting point to the frame at the rear mount (front roof mount).

Things to expect: I did have to make spacers to bridge the gap between the 50" curved bar and the mounts (I think I made them 3/4") and had to find my own longer hardware. (TSC and an angle grinder was all I used)

Don't judge too hard, this is the initial mockup. My plan is to put steel external lock washers between the aluminum bar mounts, spacers and the light bar to keep the bar locked. I currently just have some rubber in-between there.

I'm into this lightbar for like $400, instead of almost $2k like OEM!

Hope others find this Helpful!

Glad that someone else is manufacturing these mounts, but I don’t like the light bar being forward from the lip of the roof. It allows glare from the light bar to shine down on the windshield and when it gets dusty, it makes it difficult to see. These would be a great option if they moved the light bar mounting holes back just a little.
