Has anyone been running the Polaris Air Intake Risers? Does it make a difference with dust in the box and filter? Thanks.

I have them they come with track kit haven't had them in the dirt yet but i would think it might help looks kind of silly.

I'd like to know the performance in dirt also. I'll be riding in southern Arizona. Without a particle separator available unless someone has a solution

If it's that bad just tap the filter on the ground each day to knock the dust off.

It definitely gets that bad. Especially if you’re not the lead car in a group.
Doing our rides out in the Arizona and Nevada desert, I typically blow out my air filter at least once a day, and the clutches every other ride.

Yes.
It needs high pressure air to blow the clutches out. They collect quite a lot of dust, and it can build up in there and cause excessive wear to the rollers and slides.

It also builds up on the shaft of the primary clutch and can interfere with its shifting. This part requires removing the belt, and removing the primary cover plate so that the sheave can be slid inward, and then physically rubbing the dust buildup off. For this cleaning, I only do it 2-3 times a year, or whenever I do a belt change.
