Hello All, I’m new to the Xpedition world but been in the off road world for a long time. I’m working with a 2025 Polaris Xpedition ADV 5 Northstar. I absolutely love this machine. I’ve had it down for a few weeks now adding and going through every aspect of it. I’m looking forward to like minded people to gain and share knowledge. Looking forward to it. If permitted I’ll be posting pics and info along the way. If you have comments or suggestions please feel free to share. Thank you. Rick

Thank you. I’m looking forward to sharing and seeing everyone else’s machines. It’s crazy how so many others have such great ideas that I would never think of.

My first suggestion to anyone with these Xpeditions, is to get the ride height adjusted.

I can tell, both by your picture, and lots of experience, it’s sitting way low. I’ve yet to see an Xpedition come from the factory with a proper ride height. That affects both the ground clearance and the ride quality. The Fox QS3s have an internal spiral bypass, and sitting that low, it’s basically right at the end of it, making it far less effective.

Factory spec is 14” ground clearance on 30” tires. And that should be measured with the machine loaded up to your average riding weight. (With adjustment for larger tires)
