First casualty…
I’m not glad to see other folks are having the same shit experience I am, but it does validate my opinion that they’re fragile and not exactly trail worthy…
First mirror I broke was from a rock thrown by the rear tire. Second was from smacking a branch at some speed. That one broke from behind because of the flimsy plastic.
The Chupacabra mirror has a billet aluminum housing so the latter shouldn’t happen again, and I installed fender flares so the former won’t happen again. And for every other reason they might break, it’s an $8 glass replacement and 1 year warranty on the rest of the mirror.
