Broken Polaris mirrors on an Xpedition you say?

Naw…un-possible!

First casualty…

I’m not glad to see other folks are having the same shit experience I am, but it does validate my opinion that they’re fragile and not exactly trail worthy…
lol yeah. We’ll see how these Chupacabra mirrors turn out.
First mirror I broke was from a rock thrown by the rear tire. Second was from smacking a branch at some speed. That one broke from behind because of the flimsy plastic.

The Chupacabra mirror has a billet aluminum housing so the latter shouldn’t happen again, and I installed fender flares so the former won’t happen again. And for every other reason they might break, it’s an $8 glass replacement and 1 year warranty on the rest of the mirror.

The first thing I usually put on every Jeep/truck/UTV is a set of RokBlokz. However in this case the whole decision and purchasing process was rather spur of the moment since we weren’t really looking at getting back into a UTV at the time so I just bought it and figured I’d start modding it later…

With that being said although I know my damage was from a BUSH branch, I should have bought the RokBlokz when I was waiting on it to be shipped/delivered. Oh well, live and learn I s’pose!
