Was riding with the windshield open and started noticing a bumping noise when the machine get tossed around a little. Drove me nuts for a day or two before realizing it was the windshield shifting back and forth. Messed with it for little and decide to call the dealer. As usual after sending them a few pictures he explained to me what probably happened and he was right. The passenger side hinge came loose enough to shift. The vehicle side of the hinge is slotted so there is room for it to slide out of place leaving a decent size gap between the hinges. Ended up pulling the corner of the headliner and checking the the two nuts securing the hinge. They didn't feel all that loose so I gave the hinge a whack with a rubber mallet and sure enough it moved. Loosened the nuts, whacked it back into place and cranked her down. All good for now.
For future reference another telltale sign was when I attempted to close the windshield the latch wouldn't line up. This would've been a no-brainer for most, but not for me. I had to stare at it and talk to myself for a while before the lightbulb went off
