Anyone buy the Polaris stock rock sliders? How far do they stick out. 2 styles. Not sure if I can get bike on my 6’ wide trailer which has side rails with them.

I will be interested in what you end up with. I am looking for sliders that stay flush with the stock rails and do not stick out. When you decide, post up a picture for us.

Yeah I wasn’t thinking about that. I’m sure if you gave them a call they might make them available. I’m surprised they don’t already. I really do like them. They have a spot for non slip standing on them and also a step for getting in. Plate steel along the edge under the tube. Very rugged and so much better than the Polaris kickers. I’ve owned both.

Based on my past experience with my RZR I will be going with the Factory UTV skid plate and rock sliders. It's in the name "slider" the UHMW is way better at sliding across rocks than metal. The metal Rock sliders also dent and scratch and become unsightly after a while, again based on past experience from my RZR. And the factory UTV Rock sliders do not stick out more than three quarters of an inch. The drawbacks are it doesn't give you the non-skid step.

Any slider you can put on is one of the best upgrades you can do. I put mine on before the first ride. If had not done it. I would have Fd my doors and lower plastic.

100% agree. I did mine before pulling it off of the trailer for the first time. And about the 3rd ride in, it did it job.

If you are interested in the HMF sliders, there is another thread you might want to look at. I installed the five seater sliders on my XP5 and they extend out maybe an inch to inch and a half beyond the stock tires/wheels. HMF Rock Sliders

NEVER understood why in Gawd’s name people would refer to a motorized conveyance with FOUR wheels as a bike…it’s just…mind boggling.

Ute/U-T-V, side-by-side, buggy (my personal preference), hell, even “car” (which is a close second to “bike” as far as being ridiculous, but anyway) even “machine” which I hear a lot in the dealerships/mechanics but no, not “bike”, not now, not ever! 🤣

…that being said the Polaris HD sliders get my vote and are on “the list”.

I used the RBO sliders because I wanted to have the SATV steps and they were the only ones I could figure out how to modify. Turned out pretty nice though....I used a radiator hose on the inside of the SATV step mounts( I think they are for 1.75 and the RBO is 1.5) but that works out great because on the trail i can just rotate them up out of the way. The RBO sliders worked out great the only minor issue i had was with the compression bolts. They weren't threaded cleanly from RBO and i had to run a tap through them....not a big deal but took an extra few minutes
