Ended up having a blown motor and they covered it under warranty. There was an oil leak that caused the oil level to drop and starve the engine of oil.

Has anyone had a grinding noise such as between gears possibly while decelerating? Was slowing down to turn into my driveway at it sounded like it slipped between gears all of a sudden for a 100' then stopped grinding?

It is possible for the transmission to pop out of gear occasionally if the shifter linkage isn’t properly adjusted.
The one I know of personally, would pop out of high on deceleration. The owner had tried to adjust the linkage at the transmission, but it kept doing it. When he finally got it fixed, he figured it was the adjustment at the shifter lever.

Did you get a code for crankshaft position sensor? ours made the same noise then shut down. try to start and it clicks then screen goes off.

They’re thinking it’s a bad rod bearing on ours. Guess it’s a common issue they’ve been having due to the low rpm clutch starving the motor of oil.

Who told you that? the Dealer or your idea?
Oil pressure should be plenty high at idle so the low rpm clutch isn't the problem. Matter of fact my XP5 is two years old this month and been running the AA cruiser kit for most of that time
