Handle-Winch Selector GONE!!

Some friends and I were on a ride recently in some fresh snow. As luck would have it, I needed to use my winch and when I went to put the winch into "Free Spool" I noticed that the selector handle was missing. Must have fell off while riding at some point. Although this did not make the winch unusable but having to run the cable out 30 feet on the motor was less than ideal.

I talked with my dealer and they tried to get it covered under warranty with no luck. Since it was not a "Safety" item it would not be covered. This is not necessarily an issue because a replacement handle is 5 bucks. The problem lies in it is unavailable until estimated June 2025.

Does anyone here know of or have a replacement that I can get my hands on?

Well that is not good. You got whacked twice!

Just thinking out loud. I would think the winch is sourced and private branded by a popular manufacturer and that you could source the replacement part via non Polaris branding…..
