Has anyone found any other aftermarket windows for the 2024 expedition adv ultimate that don't cost $900/pair from polaris? That seems extremely high. $900/pair for the front, and $900/pair for the rear? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

That was might thoughts exactly. So I'm torn between paying way to much, or not being able to roll down the windows. Lol

I have the XP5 Ultimate and got the Polaris Canvas uppers. The only times I use them is in the winter to help cut the cold and wind. Even at that I typically have at least the driver one rolled down for fresh air. I don’t think I’d want the hard poly ones, just for that reason.
The Polaris uppers are definitely expensive, but I’m really glad I got them. They’re very sturdy in design and material, and considerably less expensive than full doors at around $8000 or Northstar upgrade at $12000. I’m perfectly fine with riding in the heat, it’s the cold I don’t handle so well, and just having the uppers in the winter is enough to make riding in the cold weather okay.

Do you have any pics of your machine with the canvas uppers on? I was thinking of getting some for next winter and it sounds like you were happy with them.

The hardware is a bit of a process to install… you have to remove and disassemble the doors to drill the mounting holes. But once that’s done, installing and removing the uppers is pretty easy. 2 thumb bolts each on the rears and 3 thumb bolts each on the fronts.

Wow man those do look nice and sturdy! Gonna try to have mine ready to go for next winter, thanks so much !

I’m curious if the engine heat alone is enough to keep you warm in the cab or do you need to install heat as well? My XP 5 has front & rear windows. Thanks

With no insulation it’ll definitely keep you warm. Just cutting out the wind makes a huge difference for staying warm while riding. I’ve insulated most of my machine and it has to be pretty cold outside before I start feeling it inside.
The biggest problem I’ve found is the cab collects a ton of dust from every un-sealed place. There’s a ton of areas that have gaps to the outside. Especially around the rear seat area. I’m slowly getting them sealed up.
